FFEC are proud to be part of the Project Team that has delivered a new Science Centre for Lord Wandsworth College in Long Sutton, near Hook, Hampshire. The building comprises 13 new fully equipped Physics, Biology and Chemistry laboratories and supporting preparation rooms for secondary and sixth form pupils. FFEC designed and installed the fixed and loose furniture and equipment working closely with the College and Architect to ensure the Science teaching and learning environment met the high standards of the College.

All laboratories have island service pods with surrounding tables to give forward-facing orientation. The chemistry laboratories are constructed using Velstone and the others use Trespa with extensive use of fume cupboards and the use of Bunsen burners for Chemistry in particular. The building features clerestory windows allowing light and ventilation into the central atrium and is part of a masterplan to rationalise the existing campus.
